TCT Cooper

I was born in 1964 and grew up in the small seaside town of Felixstowe in Suffolk with my two younger brothers. Not the most enthusiastic child when it came to school in my early years. Art, Drama, storytelling, and sports were the subjects that nudged my interest. It was not until I was in high school that I fell in love with books. It was because of Mr Coops, my English teacher, his ability to reel his students in with his interpretation and way of narrating books had me/us mesmerised and completely lost in the story; Hook, line and sinker; He had my avid attention with classic books such as Kes, Day of the Triffids, and Chocky. It was one class I and the other students always attended. I wanted to write like that one day.
