Jade Stone Live Radio Interview

Born and raised just outside of Toronto, Jade Stone (born Sasha Alexander) has been writing since 2005 and is a dark comedy writer for hire. Her goals are to become an award-winning writer-producer. She knows there is a gap she needs to close in order to achieve these things. As a result, she is taking action to achieve her dreams. She has taken the story coordinator session with BIPOC TV and Film and is looking for work in a writer's room. She is part of the WGC. Her directorial debut was the web series Lost Jen in 2023. Currently she is working on a feature film called Mary and also another web series called Pretty Smart Popular Girls. Going forward, Jade hopes to open up a film centre in Toronto to help those with underrepresented voices see their dreams a reality too. She has an educational background in public relations and radio and television and loves video games. She is also a budding singer, as she wrote and sang the soundtrack album to season 1 of Pretty Smart Popular Girls.
